Be sure to mark your calendar for our 31st Works of Heart! Our art auction will be live and in-person February 11, 2023 at the Memphis Botanic Garden. Follow our Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter pages for developing details, photos of art, information about our artists, and more.
Our 30th annual Works of Heart virtual art auction was a success for the kids served by the Memphis CAC. Art lovers from all over the country bid on visions of love created by our devoted artists. Bidding was fast paced throughout the week-long auction.
The heart-themed pieces included sculpture, paintings, tapestry, and jewelry. Many of our long-time Works of Heart artists, such as NJ Woods, John McIntire, Veda Reed, and Sally Markell participated again this year. They were joined by several first-time contributors including Janet Weed Beaver, Catherine Erb, Felicitas Sloves, and Genna Wigginson.
Big Heart Lounge. Special guests enjoyed our virtual Big Heart lounge preview party Sunday, February 6. WMC-TV’s Joe Birch hosted. Heart Hawkers provided a live, interactive gallery tour. Works of Heart artists talked about their inspiration. Guests received a valentine delivery of holiday treats, wine, event t-shirt, and a yard sign.
Social Media. You can see photos of the artwork and artists on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Be sure to visit our YouTube channel for short videos by artists, Heart Hawkers and others.
