The Padrinos [puh-dree-nohz] is a private alliance of supporters at the Memphis Child Advocacy Center who have committed to help specific families. In Spanish, a padrino is a godparent—a person who plays an important supportive role during special coming-of-age events—and sometimes during hard times.
When you become a member of The Padrinos, you’ll receive occasional email alerts about families with pressing needs. We ask that you commit to help meet those needs, as you are able, by purchasing some of the items and arranging for delivery or pick up with CAC staff. You can choose when and how you are able to help.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the Padrinos, contact our development coordinator at (901) 888-4383.
