Mark your calendar for Uniting Against Child Abuse: A National Conversation on May 6 at noon. The event features nationally recognized, high profile performers—as well as cameos by members of our team at your Memphis Child Advocacy Center. Uniting Against Child Abuse: A National Conversation is presented by twelve leading child advocacy centers, including the Memphis CAC.

Uniting Against Child Abuse: A National Conversation will entertain, inspire, and educate. It features actor, artist, activist, and child abuse survivor Terry Crews. You probably know Terry from TV, film, and the NFL. His resume includes America’s Got Talent, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Everybody Hates Chris, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, and other roles in TV and film. The event is hosted by Sasha Joseph Neulinger and includes performances by Ashley-Lauren Elrod and The 5 Browns.

Your Memphis CAC is one of the pioneering child advocacy centers in the United States. In 1992, we were the fourteenth child advocacy center to open its doors. Now, there are over 900 nationwide. What started as a model of care is now a movement. When you support the kids at the Memphis CAC, you are part of that movement. Uniting Against Child Abuse: A National Conversation is an opportunity to see child advocacy centers, including your own Memphis CAC, spotlighted on a national stage in a new way.

Public registration for this event is $25. Please mark your calendar for May 6 at noon—and prepare to be inspired.
