The Memphis Child Advocacy Center, along with 11 other leading child advocacy centers across the county, presented Uniting Against Child Abuse: A National Conversation on May 6, 2021. The virtual event featured nationally recognized, high profile performers—as well as cameos by members of our team at your Memphis CAC.

Uniting Against Child Abuse: A National Conversation entertains, inspires, and educates. It features actor, artist, activist, and child abuse survivor Terry Crews. You probably know Terry from TV, film, and the NFL. His resume includes America’s Got Talent, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Everybody Hates Chris, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, and other roles in TV and film. The event is hosted by Sasha Joseph Neulinger and includes performances by Ashley-Lauren Elrod and The 5 Browns. You can watch the recording below.

Your Memphis CAC is one of the pioneering child advocacy centers in the United States. In 1992, we were the fourteenth child advocacy center to open its doors. Now, there are over 900 nationwide. What started as a model of care is now a movement. When you support the kids at the Memphis CAC, you are part of that movement. Uniting Against Child Abuse: A National Conversation is an opportunity to see child advocacy centers, including your own Memphis CAC, spotlighted on a national stage in a new way.
